Calgary, AB — August 15, 2024 —Blue Spark Energy was established in 2011 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, under the I-Pulse Inc. group of companies focusing on developing and commercializing wellbore intervention solutions using high-pulsed power. Since our inception in 2011, we have successfully completed over 1000 commercial operations for more than 100 companies worldwide.
The Board of Directors of I-Pulse has recently approved a transaction to facilitate the demerger of certain entity groups from the I-Pulse structure, effectively creating a new entity called Blue Spark Energy Systems Inc. This strategic move will allow I-Pulse to continue to deliver value as a technology incubator while providing an enhanced platform for the entities within Blue Spark Energy Systems to accelerate their commercial operations. Both I-Pulse and Blue Spark Energy Systems will continue to be owned by the same shareholder group, ensuring a seamless transition and continuity in our operations.
I am excited to announce that effective June 1st, 2024, Blue Spark Energy became a wholly owned entity under Blue Spark Energy Systems Inc. This is an exciting step in the evolution of Blue Spark Energy and further solidifies our global presence and commercial capabilities as we continue to grow.
While we are eager to enter this next phase, there are some key aspects of our relationship that we want to assure you will not change:
