Captain’s Log 11.02.21

No signal, no wi-fi, no contact with the outside world.  How does one function when left entirely to oneself?  I watch my coffee pour from my Keurig as I contemplate these unlivable conditions.  Do I unplug it?  No, it’s not finished yet … why does Starbucks coffee take so long to brew/pour? 

MY router blinks malevolently, as if possessed by some unknown demonic force.  But of course it is not possessed – it is completely empty-headed elsewise I would be reading the hockey news right now.  How long can one exist like this? 

 Like Amundsen, I will persevere in the cold alone, unconnected,  wearing long underwear.
